During pregnancy, common conditions like SIJ/Pubic Symphysis Pain (PGP), low back pain (LBP), and swelling can arise. Our experts will discuss management strategies, including physiotherapy and safe exercises like swimming. We'll delve into current views on exercise during pregnancy, highlighting its benefits in reducing complications and promoting a healthier pregnancy.
Exercise Guidelines:
Learn about safe and unsafe physical activities during pregnancy, along with tailored exercises to prepare for motherhood. Our workshop will align with current ACOG guidelines, ensuring you receive the latest evidence-based recommendations.
Prepare for Birth:
Explore the importance of pelvic floor health during pregnancy and learn birthing positions that can facilitate a smoother delivery. We'll also touch on practical aspects like stomach and perineal massages to prepare for childbirth.
Postnatal Care:
After childbirth, proper care is essential. Our workshop covers topics such as abdominal separation, pelvic floor issues, and common postnatal conditions like mastitis and urinary incontinence. Whether you've had a vaginal delivery or a cesarean section, we've got you covered with tailored advice for your recovery journey.
Practical Demonstrations:
Get hands-on with practical demonstrations, including real-time ultrasound (RTUS) assessments for abdominal separation and pelvic floor function. Our experts will guide you through exercises and techniques to support your journey to wellness.
